Sublime is famed for being the place to stay in Comporta, so when it announced a new villa-first opening a stone’s throw from the original property, it’s fair to say interest among the Conde Nast Traveller editors piqued. With the promise of even more private space than the original hotel, Monaco-born Beefbar as the main restuarant, slick wellness facilities and a stellar family offering, it feels different enough to its sister property (now renamed Sublime Terracotta) to feel like a totally different hotel.
