Sublime Comporta and Sublime Lisboa awarded One MICHELIN Key each
Two distinct expressions of Sublime hospitality, recognised in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide hotel selection.
Sublime Comporta and Sublime Lisboa have each been awarded One MICHELIN Key in the 2026 hotel selection, announced on 18 September. Set in different places and moving at different rhythms, the two hotels share the same belief: that a memorable stay grows from a sense of place, thoughtful service and care in every detail.
What does One MICHELIN Key mean?
The MICHELIN Key is the Guide’s distinction for hotels, just as the MICHELIN Star recognises restaurants. One Key signifies, in the Guide’s words, “a very special stay”. Anonymous inspectors consider five criteria: architecture and interior design, the quality and consistency of service, the hotel’s personality, value for money, and its contribution to its setting.
In Lisbon, that same attention takes on a more intimate form. Housed in a 20th-century townhouse in Amoreiras, Sublime Lisboa brings together 15 individual rooms and suites, the Italian restaurant Davvero and a personal way of welcoming guests. It offers the freedom to explore the city with the feeling of coming home.
In Comporta, the landscape sets the pace. Among umbrella pines, cork trees and dunes, Sublime Comporta invites guests to slow down and make room for the pleasures of the destination.
