At the gateway to Comporta, overlooking emerald rice fields and the tranquil waters of the ria, Sado celebrates Alentejo’s regional culinary heritage with clarity and authenticity. Working closely with local producers, the restaurant honours time-tested recipes shaped by land and sea.

Rice dishes take center stage: generous, comforting and unmistakably Portuguese, alongside fresh Atlantic fish, seafood and black pork. With the estuary just beyond and a terrace designed for unhurried afternoons and glowing sunsets, Sado offers a refined yet deeply rooted expression of tradition in harmony with its surroundings.
